Introduction
Once enabled, the penalty hours rule allows you to define periods of time during the workweek that attract a premium rate of pay e.g. time worked on Sunday. Premium pay is applied as a percentage of the employees' base rate.

Enable Penalty Rates Rule
Set the penalty rate applied for time worked on specific days / times of the week. As per the first line item in the example below, time worked between 10pm - 12am on any week day attracts a penalty rate of 10% above the worker's base rate.
