EMPLOYER CAN CLOCK-IN WORKER FROM MOBILE APP

There will be situations when an employer needs to clock-in a worker for their shift. This is now supported on the mobile app, (iPhone or Android phone). When on the Schedule view, select the appropriate shift and proceed to tap on the clock-in button.

COMPLIANCE RULESET CHANGES
Weekly Overtime
: Daily Overtime Hours are excluded from the calculation of hours worked in determining when Weekly Overtime Hours apply.

Break Allocations: We have separated the break allocation rule so Paid and Unpaid breaks can be set separately, providing greater flexibility across different break legislations. Additionally, break segments are now specified down to a "seconds" level to support legislation in some jurisdictions.

Max Consecutive 7 Days: We have implemented support for exempting this rule in certain jurisdictions in the following scenario: A worker who works for 7 consecutive days, however their total hours of employment do not exceed 30 hours in a work week and six hours in any one day.

A “waiver warning” is tagged to shifts and timecards alerting the employer that they need to ensure employees know that working the seventh day is optional and voluntary.

DECLARE TIPS & SALES
For employers using the Tips & Sales feature that require workers to declare tips earned and sales made on shift clock-out, we have added support for specifying whether Sales are entered on a “Gross” or “Net” basis.
