Introduction
InhouseDelivery and SkyTab Online accounts can be connected directly through the InhouseDelivery app.
When the accounts are connected, all SkyTab Online delivery orders will automatically flow through to InhouseDelivery. These can then be dispatched for delivery, either manually or automatically.
Navigation
First, navigate to the Settings screen. Settings are accessible by clicking the icon on the far righthand side of the top menu.
Under Settings, select Integrations
.
Here you will see the list of integrations available to you.
Click on SkyTab Online to view the SkyTab Online integrations page.
To connect to your SkyTab Online account, click the Connect button in the top righthand corner.
Log in to Shift4
First, you will need to log in to your Shift4 account.
After successfully entering your credentials, you will be asked to provide InhouseDelivery with permission to a number of features. These permissions enable InhouseDelivery to access SkyTab Online delivery orders once connected to a location.
After selecting Allow, you will be presented with a list of possible locations to connect to.
It is possible that no locations will be displayed, if all locations are already connected to an InhouseDelivery location.
Note that:
A SkyTab Online location can only be connected to a single InhouseDelivery location AND
An InhouseDelivery location can only be connected to a single SkyTab Online location
Select the location you wish to connect to them, then click the Connect button at the bottom of the screen.
Your accounts will now be connected, and you will see a message on screen to confirm this.
Click the Return to IHD button to return to InhouseDelivery.
A Connected label will appear against SkyTab Online, further confirming the successful connection.
What's next?
Ensure you have entered your billing details so you can start dispatching orders
Choose whether to have orders automatically dispatched via the auto-dispatch setting. By default, this is set to manual dispatch.
Disconnect account
It is possible to disconnect your SkyTab Online account by navigating to the SkyTab Online page (Settings>Integrations>SkyTab Online).
Click the Disconnect button at the top of the screen.
You will be asked to confirm your request to disconnect your account.
Once the account is disconnected, no future delivery orders will be received from the selected SkyTab Online account into InhouseDelivery. Any existing orders will remain visible in the app, and you will continue to be able to dispatch them or perform other actions.
