Introduction

InhouseDelivery (IHD) pricing differs depending on who performed the delivery.

In short, deliveries performed by third-party providers incur a $1 service fee. Deliveries performed by a restaurant's own employee do not incur a fee.

All costs are per delivery. There are no subscription fees, no minimum monthly fees, and no setup costs.

Deliveries performed by third-party providers

IHD charges a $1 fee to restaurants when an order is dispatched to a driver from a third-party provider (for example, UberEats or SkipCart).

In addition to this, IHD collects both the flat fee for the delivery driver and the driver tip. These fees are directly passed onto the third-party provider.

Example:

A customer places an order for 2 pizzas for $20. They add a tip of $3 for the driver onto the order.

The restaurant uses IHD to dispatch the order. The order is dispatched to a delivery driver from SkipCart at a cost of $6.

At the end of the day, IHD charges the restaurant $10 for this order:

  • $3 for the driver tip, which is directly passed onto SkipCart

  • $6 for the driver fee, which is directly passed onto SkipCart

  • $1 as the IHD service fee

Deliveries performed by a restaurant's own employee

For orders delivered by a restaurant's own employee, IHD does not charge a service fee.

No additional fees are incurred or collected.

Example:

A customer places an order for 4 burgers for $45. They add a tip of $12 for the driver onto the order.

The restaurant uses IHD to dispatch the order. The order is dispatched to one of the restaurant's own employees to deliver.

At the end of the day, IHD does not charge the restaurant anything for this order:

  • There is no IHD service fee

  • The restaurant is responsible for distributing any driver tips to the driver

  • The restaurant is responsible for paying the driver for the delivery

How often does IHD bill?

For most customers, billing is performed on a weekly basis.

Each bill includes an account statement displaying the breakdown of costs and the deliveries performed within the billing period.

Are there any upfront costs?

Are there any transaction fees?

Payment by ACH (direct bank transfer) will incur a 1% transaction fee. Payment by credit card will incur a 3% transaction fee.

What name will appear on my bank statement?

Charges made by IHD will appear as SocialSchedules IHD on your bank statement.

How do refunds work?

Refunds provided by a third-party provider will be applied as a credit to the next invoice.
