Add/edit managers

Introduction

InhouseDelivery supports three roles:

  • Administrators

    • Administrators have access to all features within the InhouseDelivery, and are created upon account creation. If you require additional account administrators, please contact our support team.

  • Managers

    • Managers have access to all features within the InhouseDelivery, including managing deliveries. The only features they cannot access are:

      • Billing (adding/editing billing details, viewing invoices)

      • Adding new locations

      • Editing location address / phone numbers

  • Drivers

    • Drivers are restaurant employees who will be performing deliveries. They do not have access to the desktop application; only to the mobile app for the purpose of accepting and performing deliveries.

Both administrators and managers may also be given the driver role, if they are to perform deliveries.

Add manager

Managers are located under the Settings menu.

By default, you will see the administrator listed who was created during the registration process.

To add a new manager, click Add Manager in the top righthand corner.

Note that managers must be added to each location separately. If you have multiple locations, ensure you have selected the applicable location in the lefthand menu.

Add the manager's first and last name, and then enter their phone number. (All fields are mandatory)

Upon creation, the manager will receive a text message inviting them to download the mobile app and activate their account.

Once the driver has activated their account, they will be able to access both the IHD desktop and mobile app.

View managers

All managers will appear on the main Managers page, listed in alphabetical order.

Re-invite managers

Any managers which have not yet accepted the invite and activated their account will display with an Invited status.

You may resend the SMS invite to them by clicking the ellipsis on the far righthand side, and then selecting Resend invite.

Remove manager

To remove a driver, select the Remove manager option under the ellipsis.

You will be prompted to confirm your choice.

Note that if the user manages multiple locations, they will only be removed as a manager from the selected location. To remove them from all locations, you will need to go into each location individually and remove the manager.

Once the manager is removed, they will no longer have access to any manager features for the given location.

Note that the administrator cannot be removed from a location.
