How do I track an order?

For customers

Once a delivery driver has been assigned to an order and is on the way to the restaurant to pick up the order, a text message will be sent to the customer.

The text message contains a link to a tracking page, where the customer can track their order through to delivery.

Your driver is on the way to <Restaurant Name> to pick up your order. Track it <order tracking link>.

While the order is out for delivery, the tracking page includes:

  • An estimated time of the driver's arrival (refreshed every 60 seconds)

  • A map displaying the driver's current location (if available)

  • The ability to call the driver

  • A link to further help

Once the driver has delivered the order, the page will change to say the delivery has been completed. A picture of where the order was placed, if it was not handed to the customer, will also be displayed.

For restaurants

Restaurants also have real-time visibility of their deliveries from three places:

Orders view

Click on any order from the Orders page to see detailed information. This includes the pickup and drop off times (either actual or estimated).

A live map is also displayed, showing the driver's current location and route (if available).

Live map

All current orders are visible on the Live map. Simply click on an order to highlight it, including the driver, their current location, and ETA.

Mobile app

For all 'in progress' orders, a View Live Tracker button is available on the detailed Orders page.

Click it to view the live tracking page, displaying:

  • An estimated time of the driver's arrival (refreshed every 60 seconds)

  • A map displaying the driver's current location (if available)

  • A link to further help

This tracking page is near identical to the tracking page the customer receives.

Note the ability to call the driver is not available from this page, as only customers have access to call the driver.
